Enfys Alice provides practical and emotional support to individuals who have lost a relative, friend, neighbour or coworker to suicide, recently or historically. We tailor the support around your needs, by contacting organisations on your behalf, to let people know what’s happened, explaining what happens next, supporting you to arrange the funeral, or by offering a listening ear, whatever you may need.
Establishing the Enfys Alice service began back in 2018, when, during a BCUHB Mental Health Strategy Meeting a lady stood on her feet, and relayed that she had lost her daughter, Alice to suicide recently, and there was no help available to support her through those dark and difficult weeks. A decision was made to create a service which would support individuals and families following a suicide in North Wales. It has taken a few years but Enfys Alice is now live and operational across North Wales.
This is Nina, Alice’s mum, speaking about her below:
The Enfys Alice service is managed by Canolfan Felin Fach, a charity who has supported vulnerable adults in the Pen Llyn area for over 30 years.
